Media Gallery Not Working

  • I can no longer use the media gallery for my photos. On existing posts, the images are mere thumbnails, not tiled mosaic. When I try to edit an existing gallery, i’m not able to click into the gallery. Clicking on the edit function does nothing. I can’t create new galleries either. I disabled all my plugins, and it did not fix the issue. I also changed themes, and that did not fix the issue either. So, it’s not a plugin problem, nor is it a theme problem. Any idea on how I can get this resolved? I’m also losing images on posts. In some older posts, the images are no longer available. If i click on the image tag, it takes me to an error message (403 – Access Denied). I’m stumped and not sure what to do next.     Your galleries seem to be working now. Were you able to resolve the issue?

    I got it resolved now. I had to clear the cache. Was not working in IE or Chrome, but was working in Firefox. However, it doesn’t seem as if it’s working as great as it had in the past. For example, it was able to order images so a vertical sat nicely to the side of two or three horizontal images. now, it just distorts the vertical image and it rotates the image. Bizarre.

    Is it always fixed by clearing the cache? If so, what are you using for your cache?
