Media gallery loads forever

Sounds like some Javascript is breaking.

I had the same problem. There is an Internal Server error (500) in admin-ajax.

Maybe the Plugin is not compatible with WP 4.8 yet?

Maybe it is helpful to say that this problem does not appear on a local(host) server running with MAMP and the exact same configuration.

Looks like this was related to invalid XML files, or the code running against non-xml files.

I have added some checks and balances. I will release here shortly.
