I am having some trouble getting my media files to show up. When I go to my media directory the files seem to be there, but the thumbnails do not show a picture, just a blank screen. I have tried uploading new images, but have the same problem. And of course when I try to use some of the pictures and documents in my website pages they don’t show up, just the name and description where the image should be. However, that said, my home page photos and some of my other images do seem to work. Can someone help me figure out what I should try?!!

I’m having the same exact issue as Jennie_W. When I access the media library the images are there but when I try to edit them, it shows a broken link and I can’t edit anything.

I have disabled all plug ins, erased cached content, changed themes, and nothing seems to work.

I’ve also found the same issue in multiple other posts since the release of WP 4.2.2 but a permanent solution has not been found.

Any help, please?
