Media files

  • I am trying to locate my media files to investigate their size. As there is no way to do this from within word press, can anyone tell me where the image files reside so that I can investigate them using FTP, or my ISP file manager?

  • In the folder that is defined in Settings -> Media.

    I actually meant in the file structure. I did find them. Unfortunately in Word press media, it doesn’t not show you the file size.

    Goto
    /wp-content/uploads/
    then u can find various folders named year basis.
    After entering the folder (Say 2010) u will find the folders of month
    Now enter into any of the month and u can find here the files. Now u can see the size.
