Media File uploads will not complete to library

  • I am having trouble getting our mp3 files to finish the upload process. I have been having this trouble for a few weeks now. Sometimes the upload never shows as finished, other times it will act like it has finished by going to the library but my file is not there.

    I found out today that the files are actually uploading to my cpanel directory multiple times. I have checked (and had my hosting company check) the permissions for the folders. They are set to 755.

    I recently updated to WP 3.7.1 but this issue was occurring at least 2 weeks prior while still using 3.5.2.

    Sometimes I can get it to go through using another PC. This has become very frustrating, sometimes taking more than 6 uploads to get one to work.

  • I suggest you to update wordpress manually once .. i hade a same issue prior .. check it once like that

    Deactivate all plugins, revert to Twenty Thirteen theme and try again.
