media file not loading

What’s your site URL? Is it your Media Library files that aren’t loading, or all media in general (e.g. theme images)?

Oh – that is such a bad idea!? Were you aware that your site is now running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to ensure that you are running the latest version of WordPress. Once you site is secure again, we can always try and help you with any issues that you have but clearing up after a hack is a nasty, time-consuming, business.

After 4 years of no problems uploading media or using saved media from Media files, I can’t get anything to attach to my current post. “Insert Post” is useless. I have the current uploads. What am I doing wrong?

I should share this with all fellow wordpress user.
when we upgrade to newer version-we get scared very easily if certain features does not work. I am advertising my website on facebook/google now, so for me getting my site back is very important.
So i downgraded and uploaded my customized css and php files. Once i did, i found that media files are not working again. Then I checked the php files I changed recently and voila! by removing that link it worked again.
I upgraded again back to newest version.
I really learnt a lot today.

i customized the php – so i added a href link to stylesheet. it did not work.
i added“> this before the <?php
