Media Error – Images lost

  • Hi, I got this issue where all my media files stop showing, by this I mean I uploaded them into my media file and all the sudden they are only showing the grey paper icon in all of my files. Did anyone know any fixes for this?

    have you checked that correct file permmission are set on your server so that WordPress has access to the /uploads folder? Do you get an error when uploading new images through WordPress?

    Hi mh,

    yes, I have updated the permission to 755 and checked the boxes I was supposed to.

    I used the get an error everytime I uploaded a file but I found the solution for it.

    A new error im getting is everytime I make any changes for the media files, all of my images thumbnail turn to grey paper icons.
