Media Editing Page Missing "groups" Settings

  • Hi,

    I have a question about the settings in the media editing page.
    I assume that there must be a bug or do I miss some information?

    I have a fresh install with the groups plugin.
    One Image is uploaded to the media galery.

    Case 1:

    If I open the image editing page I don’t see any settings for groups.

    Case 2:
    Use the groups Panel to:
    * create a capacity.
    * Then a group.
    * Assign the capacity to the group.

    Open the image again, no settings appear.

    Case 3:
    Open Page editing. Create with the groups panel on the right side a new group and capacity. You do no need to assign the newly created group/capacity.

    Open the image: settings APPEARS.

    Case 4:
    Rename in group settings the capacity name.

    Open the image: no settings any more.

    Case 5:
    Rename the previously capacity back to the name bevore you changend in step 4.

    Open the image: settings are back again.

    ====

    I cannot see any error in the log.

    Any suggestions?

    in Groups->Options you need to select the capabilities to display in post types.

    Hi Antonio,

    yes I know.
    These are all selected.
    In case 3 as I described I got the settings.

    But the settings appears only if and only if I have created the group/capacity pair over the edit page site panel.
    If I rename the capacity the settings in media are disappering (without changing the settings recommented by you)
    Renaming back the capacity shows the settings in media again.
    This is reproducable.

    Sorry I mean capability instead of of capacity. Sorry for the wrong wording.
