Media control

Is it possible to limit a role to only be able to manage post/pages and specifically media based on a category or something similar?

I need to setup a Multi-Author site but restrict author teams to only their own posts, pages, and media items.

However, as the authors will be working in teams there’s a need to allow these teams to manage each other’s items. But not see other teams content.

Each team (or role) would be able to create child pages starting from a point in the page structure (or use a category), posts limited to particular categories (and include defaults), and media but only the items uploaded by the team.

Is this possible with this plugin, free or pro version?

Media control is what I’m mainly struggling with.
