Measurements of Ads Categories v Pages.

    WP wonderful! I have gathered confidence to make my own theme and is in the starting hole.
    I have some questions though on the measurements of sidebars. I would like to have fully adapted sidebars for advertising
    I was think something like this
    Layout
    Ad Banner height? What is most used?
    1 featured article + 2 sidebars 336 or 300 + a 250px wide. What should I choose? 336 or 300
    Then add a little column/ sidebar to the right of the main content, i.e. Main content + small column + the 2 sidebars.
    size of the small column, should be?

    Categories v Pages.
    On my old site I use a lot special configured categories like capegory-56.php.
    Should I make more custom pages with special custom made template? How am I to think?
