Just to check, when you go to wp-contents/plugins
, do you still see the WooCommerce folder? If it is still there, chances are that there was a glitch with the update. You can delete the WooCommerce folder and then try to install WooCommerce afresh using any of the methods in our installation guide.
Important to Note:
- By deleting the WooCommerce folder, you only remove the plugin and its files. Your settings, orders, products, pages, etc… will still exist in the database.
- Make sure to create a backup of your site before carrying out the above process. I suggest using plugins like UpdraftPlus for backups.
- Feel free to ask your host to assist with the process
