MD5 or SHA-2 hashing?

    Wordfence recently released an article discussing a weakness in MD5 hashing on some scanner plugins and software. Was just curious if Anti-Malware uses MD5 SHA-2 hashing?

    My plugin uses MD5 hashes for some things but not passwords, that’s what would be unsafe. It’s not unsafe the way I am using it.
