MCM Categories only seen on second instance

    Hello Support:

    Your plugin well might be among the best ones to enhance the WP Media Library. Congratulations.

    There is a behavior, though, that keeps the plugin from being perfect; and the limitation could be on WP core files.

    When you first create a post or page, and add media, all you see are the 2 default filter boxes ALL MEDIA ITEMS and ALL DATES. (upper left)

    Nevertheless, once you save the post or page, and afterwards go inside one of them again, then you will see the MCM categories filter, third from left.

    Is this an issue, a configuration, or a limitation?

    Any way to make it from the first instance?

    Hai Pablo,

    Thanks for the compliments and for bringing this glitch to my attention.
    It is indeed a limitation of my plugin. It will be fixed in the new version V1.4.3.

    For your information:
    The issue is caused because of the test which is preventing the code to be included on every page. In this case, the test was too strict as it didn’t allow the code for the page “post-new.php”. The page “post.php” was allowed which led to the behaviour you described.
