MC4WP says successful subscribed. Nothing happens in Mailchimp

    I set up a Mailchimp account. Connected MC4WP with MailChimp. Connection says successful. Form on double-opt in. Double-opt in MailChimp as well. When I subscribe on the website the MC4WP log says:

    [2023-09-22 20:51:43] INFO: Form 1207 > Successfully subscribed marj*************@au******.nl

    [2023-09-22 21:11:53] INFO: Form 1207 > Successfully subscribed marj*************@au******.nl

    But in MailChimp nothing enters.

    Under MC4WP > Form > Settings, is Double opt in set to Yes?
    If so, the subscriber will only show up in Mailchimp after the email is confirmed by clicking the link in the opt-in email.

    It is set to ‘yes’ but no confirmation mail is being received.

    Next to that; in Mailchimp I set the ‘double opt-in’ to ‘yes’ too. Is that ok?

    But sofar; no confirmation mail from mc4wp either

    The setting in our plugin will overrule whatever you’ve set in Mailchimp when you’re using our forms.

    If you see the Successfully subscribed message in the log, the contact is sent to Mailchimp, from there it’s out of our hands as Mailchimp sends the opt-in mail, not our plugin.

    Likely the opt-in mail goes to spam because the from address in Mailchimp isn’t set correctly or you need to add Mailchimp to your SPF record. You can contact Mailchimp support for more information on this
