MC User Sync creates new MC user upon email change

    Howdy,

    I am using MailChimp for WordPress (4.0.2) to synchronize my WP users with MC, using MailChimp User Sync (1.5). This works fine for first and last name, but not for email: If the WP user changes the email, then a new MC user is created with that email.

    I use a mailchimp_sync_user_data filter, but this should not affect this in any way, right?

    I seem to be the only one having this problem – am I missing something?
