    Hi @calebcuster

I reviewed your site, and it looks like it falls under what we consider a commercial site, which is why you see a message to upgrade. A commercial site is one that you try to make or raise money from, regardless of the non-profit status. In this case, you are asking for donations here: https://mb1800.org/support/.

Free stats plans are for truly non-commercial sites only. Asking commercial sites to pay is the only way we can keep this feature available to people who run hobby blogs and similar. More details on this here: https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-stats/free-or-paid/#how-is-a-commercial-site-defined

Please upgrade to a?paid plan?to continue using Jetpack stats: https://cloud.jetpack.com/pricing#jetpack_stats_yearly

    Best regards.

I’ll just delete the plugin. All this plugin does is show stats that you can already see in Analytics directly? Why is that even a standalone plugin?

    Hi @calebcuster

You are certainly welcome to remove Jetpack if you would like.

Before you do so, I wanted to clarify that Jetpack Stats isn’t a standalone plugin. It is part of the Jetpack plugin, which provides other security, performance, and marketing tools. It is possible that your site may be using one or more of those other features. You can see a list at:

Features Included in the Core Jetpack?Plugin.

If you use any of those other features, I’d recommend disabling the Stats module.

Also, Jetpack Stats provides data that is unique from other sources. When it is active, we collect analytics data and then present that to you in your WordPress dashboard. This is data is different from other analytics tools that you might be using on your site.
