I had quite an elaborate system working beautifully with the previous version 1.0.17, but since upgrading to 1.1.0 *nothing* appears as it should. (i.e. no shortcodes are being processed).

The only thing I can do to get some level of function is by using allow_shortcodes, but it turns an elegant solution into a rather clumsy one…. for example, instead of just [rps-include post=”4555″ title=”false”] I am now having to use [rps-include post=”4555″ allow_shortcodes=”heading,spacer,column,types,callout,tabs,tab,background,note,widgets_on_pages,gallery,latest_works” title=”false”]

… and it still doesn’t work properly. I also have dozens of pages I would need to edit.

So, please, may I have a download link for version 1.0.17 while I try to figure this out? Thanks.

We will look into the issue to see what can be figured out. In the meantime you can download any previous version of the plugin by visiting the Developers page. Version 1.0.17 is in the list.

We have identified an issue in the plugin code which prevented shortcodes from being executed by default as in previous versions. Update to version 1.1.1 and your issue should be solved. Let us know if you continue to have any problems.

That’s great, redpixelstudios. Everything seems to be back where it should be. There’s just one small detail though – I can’t seem to untick and save the changes for box labeled “Remove the interface that appears when hovering over included content”. I untick it, but after clicking [Save Changes] the page refreshes with the tick in place. I like the hover over content feature, because it makes editing easier, and because I have multiple levels of nested content, it makes it easier to navigate back to the source of the included components.

We have version 1.1.1 installed with WordPress 3.7 and the twenty twelve theme but are unable so far to replicate the issue on a single or multisite install. It is possible that your browser is keeping the setting checked, though something else may be at work here.

Could you try logging out, emptying your browser cache, quitting and adjusting the setting again after logging back in? If that is cumbersome, perhaps you could try logging in using a different browser.

Please let us know the results. Thanks.

Logging out and emptying cache fixed it. Thanks. I will mark this thread as [resolved]. Now I look forward to investigating how and where I can use some of the other new enhancements you’ve made. ??
