Maxmind Precision Web-API fail to generate the CITY

I have tested this on my install, the city information is getting retrieved as it should. Did you choose “API Type: City” in the preferences?
You can also try the same IP 8.8.8.8 as some IPs do not have a city attached.

@alfateam Do not use short links in these forums, that has been abused in the past and is expanded when found. I have expanded yours.

@jdembowski Can you please remove the link totally, I don’t want my client website to show this page on future google searches.

I can edit it but you may want to remove that yourself.

@jdembowski I tried to edit the initial shorten url reply but I can’t do it, also using your links the same, only last post can be edited which I did.

I’ve removed the links and your IP address. Please be aware that next time that won’t be done and this is an exception.

When you create a post in these forums there is a link field. It is only viewable if a user is logged in and will not show up in a search engine query.

That’s weird because when I do the look up in my system, it gives me the city:

Can you check “Skip Cache” and try if maybe the city was added recently?

I ticked Skip Cache and it works but for how long it will work ? Is there any permanent fix for that ?

There is a cache on your server, I think it is keeping the data attached for one IP for 1 week by default (can be changed in functions.php)-
