The Output setting option “Maximum width of the thumbnail:” enables me to change it from 150px to 450px, which I need to do on https://italyfromtheinside.com

After I hit save however, if I expand the Output option again, it will show 150px in the box not the 450px.

Worse the setting of 450px, holds for a little while but eventually is truly replaced by the 150px setting and then the related posts on the actual site ‘appear to break’ becoming too small to see.

Something is not right with this and I’m not exactly sure what.

Are you using the default styles under the Custom styles section? i.e. do you have “Use default style included in the plugin?” checked under Custom style

Yes I do. Does that cause other settings to revert back / not to save?

Yes. The plugin should display this notice on the page.

The CSS requires the thumbnails fixed to 150px. I’m going to try to split it in the next to keep the sizes separate from the style look and feel.

Understand. I think the misunderstanding about what overwrites what, plus maybe a little css conflict between the plugin and the theme might have been my problem.

As a workaround, I unchecked the box for the default settings. I copied the CSS first before and then pasted it into the custom css box so that I could benefit from the formatting.

That seemed to solve my problem and prevent the conflict.

Glad to know you sorted this ??

Using the CSS in the box is the fastest solution.
