    Hello,

I don’t well understand this advanced option and related notes:

For your information, the memory limit of your webserver is 250M whereas the present memory usage is 27.90 MB.

It is recommended that the maximum attachment size is not set to a value higher than this one.

Please note that the files greater than this limit won’t be included in the zip file!

    – 1st line: 250M? should I read 250MB?
    – 2nd line: “higher than this one” means here 27.90MB?
    – 3rd line: “files greater than this limit” – is this setting for memory usage or for file sizes? Don’t well understand the relation between both here…

    Thanks.

1 – Yes it is 250MB … If you have any remark on that, you have to contact PHP as it is an info that is provided by a php function
    – it mean 250MB … I will modify thge plugin to be clearer
    – the limit is the value of the option you are setting

    Thanks for this.

I’m still a bit confused here: the first line mentions “memory limit” while the second line mentions a “attachment size“.

Is it the same? I mean you are referring here to a size limit for both? And is this a file limit for the ZIP files or for files included inside the ZIP file?

The attachment size is the chunck size (other option). Clearly I have to be clearer but in fact this is very complex and tricky options … Normally, people does not need / have to modify it …

OK, thanks, I’ll leave them as they are and will see what happens.

That is why they are named : advanced ??
To be sure it works, please force a backup with the button and see if the backup process does not generates errors

Yep, I’ve done this already and had no issues.
Was just trying to anticipate issues but I think we are set for now, thanks.
