Maximum Post not reflecting

    I have sent the settings to this (for sidebar)

    However, it is still constantly showing 20+ links on the side.
    I have change it to show 1, 2 and fewer, purge cache and still no changes being made.
    I changed some other settings such as show picture and such and it reflects.
    Is there something im doing wrong?

    Okay I understand what it is trying to do
    It’s showing “x amount” under each tag.
    So when I have multiple tag, it showing 1 of each.
    Is there a way to hardlimit to to just 3 or 4 total regardless which tag it grabs from?
