I am trying to use this plugin for a photography site… each time I add more than 25 images to a gallery, I get this error appear right on the web page itself, above the (working) slider:

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]:open_basedir restriction in effect. gobbledegook blah blah..

Is this a host issue? If it is, why is it only with more than 25 images… and I have multiple sliders on the page..

    Any ideas, please?

    Looks like this https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1846882/open-basedir-restriction-in-effect-file-is-not-within-the-allowed-paths

It’s certainly not related to WunderSlider or the WunderSlider Gallery plugin, there are no limits to the number of images.

    Thanks for the reply.

I was not able to fix the issue I was having.

I don’t think it was the wunderslider plugin alone but when I deactivated the plugin, the gallery would show normally as the regular nextgen gallery.

Just adding one more image than 25 would bring up the error.

I have lost the error but it was on line 54 of class-wunderslider-xml-parser.php

Either way it no longer matters, I have had to use a different plugin in the end but thanks for your reply. The host didn’t seem to know what any of that meant, or perhaps he just didn’t care. :/
