Maximum Number of Users Question

    Is there a maximum number of users that WordPress can handle? I am using WordPress as a true CMS and not a blog. We are expecting to have 20,000 users over the next two years.

    Just curious if anyone out there has real life experience with this.

  • In theory, there’s no limit. In practice, it’s almost certainly dependant upon the performance of your server. wordpress.com is a huge multisite with millions of users, so large user base sites are possible with the right server architecture.

    That is what I figured but wasn’t sure. We have a couple of DL380 G7’s right now. Should be fine for a bit then!
