maximum number of selections in multiselect field not working

Could you please tell us what version of UM you’re using? When you submit the form, does it say that “You can only select up to 5 choices” even though you’ve selected 6? If so, that’s the validation the prevents you from adding a new selection.

I’m using version 2.2.1. I have this multiselect field on both registration and profile page. I have mentioned maximum number of options as 5 but it still saves 6 options and doesn’t give any error.
