Maximum number of products??

  • Hi all, newbie here. I have a question regarding my (hopeful) affiliate marketing clothing site. Concept below:

    The site has the appearance of an ecommerce site, but each image is just a click-through to an external URL. Hoping to add to the site approximately 500-1000 products per day.

    Current theme: Blanco (https://themeforest.net/item/blanco-responsive-wordpress-ecommerce-theme/2755246?sso?WT.ac=search_item&WT.seg_1=search_item&WT.z_author=8theme)
    E-commerce plugin- woocommerce

    Endless scrolling is used to load the products.

    My question is- will wordpress be able to handle this amount of products? The site doesn’t have many pages, but it is just the sheer volume of products that I want to add which is worrying me slightly. I don’t want to go and modify the store alot and then find out that I’m building it in the wrong format/CMS?

    Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
