    Hello

When I activate Yoast I receive the error message:

E_ERROR en la línea 522 del archivo …/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/options/class-wpseo-option.php. Mensaje de error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded

And when I try to see the entries in the background it will delay many minutes to open it.

    My config is:

    WordPress versión 5.6

    Tema actual: Flatsome (versión 3.13.1)

Plugin actual: Yoast SEO (versión 15.7)

    PHP versión 7.4.11

    Thanks

We apologize for the difficulties and can certainly understand how this would be frustrating.

In regards to the error that you are receiving when trying to activate the plugin of ‘Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded’ this error is caused by the PHP setting ‘max_execution_time‘ being set to low, and needing to be increased on your hosting account. This setting is typically controlled by editing the value for c in a php.ini file such as in the following example:

    max_execution_time = 120

You can refer to this guide for more info. If you aren’t sure how to change the max_execution_time setting in php.ini, we would recommend contacting your hosting provider for additional assistance.

    Hello

We proceeded to make these changes but when I activate Yoast and try to access “All entries” the list of entries does not load.

Sometimes they appear but it takes more than 2 minutes to do so, deactivating the plugin they load instantly.

So we suspect that the Yoast plugin is causing an execution problem and does not allow its loading.

    Hello!

We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin.

Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?Does the issue occur? If not, reactivate your other plugins one at a time and see if the issue occurs again for every plugin reactivated. Lastly, switch to your theme.

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

After deactivating everything and checking the incident, I realized that the client had selected to display 999 entries per page and of course, this was the cause of the error …

Thank you very much for your help!
