Maximum Donation

Not currently. I assume this is for a political campaign, is that right? We’ve considered features like this but haven’t yet put together a plan of action for something like this. If you can describe your full needs, even on the reporting side, or user registration that would help us a lot.

Thanks Matt. According to our campaign manager, we just need to capture the donor’s address (which we’re doing), and we can’t accept more than $5,000 from any one donor. If that ends up in a future release that would be great.

Hi @annemcreative – I’ve just created the following code snippet which allows you to set a maximum donation amount: https://github.com/WordImpress/Give-Snippet-Library/blob/master/admin-functions/maximum-donation-amount.php

With this snippet, if a donor tries to submit a donation more than $5,000.00 then a customizable error will display prompting them of the max amount.
