Maxgalleria YouTube Video Not Appearing In Lightbox

  • I have two sites that use Maxgalleria

    Both were created using Artisteer 4.2
    Both are running wordpress 4.0

    One site is using Maxgalleria version 2.3 (https://mrs-doughty.com/videos/) and it works fine.

    The other site I upgraded to Maxgalleria 2.4 (https://bayouducks.com/videos/videos-page-3/) and the videos no longer will appear in the light box. You have to wait until the youtube control line appears at the top of the box and then click on “full-screen” to see the video.

    I have deactivated all other plugins and still get the same results

    What do I need to do to correct this.

    Video showcase runs fine (https://bayouducks.com/videos/videos-page-6/) but the problem I have with using the video showcase on every video page is that with a lot of videos the player slides up and disappears from view as the user scrolls down the screen.

    I would like to have my old version again.

    I just installed the MaxGalleria plugin yesterday. The gallery looks great but clicking on a youtube video opens a black lightbox and no video plays.

    Using the dev tool console in Chrome I see 5 errors:
    GET chrome-extension://boadgeojelhgndaghljhdicfkmllpafd/cast_sender.js net::ERR_FAILED and I think this is preventing the video from playing.

    Research shows many other devs experiencing the same problem with embedded youtube videos. I think the Chrome team is working on it but I’m not sure.

    Is anyone else having this problem and is there a solution?
