MaxButtons: Inserting line break in text?

  • Hi,

    I’m using the free version of MaxButtons in WP.
    Great plugin, many helpful features, working fine – thanks!

    I have one question:
    Is it possible, to insert line braks in the text?

    Hi,

    You can using <br> in the text. You’ll have less control over how the text shows online, so it might not look good. MaxButtons PRO has an option for a second line of text which is fully configurable.

    thanks for the fast response.

    When using <br> in the text, there is no effect, leading not to line break.
    When saving <br> seems to be deleted.

    Seems you are right. I think you have to try and do it in the shortcode itself then. You can override the text setting:

    [maxbutton id=x text=”Test<br>Test”]

    ( x is your button id as usual ).
