• Hello,
I would like to know if I am missing a setting whereby I can load / unset the max results when a wider radius is selected in the filters. For example I have the default values set to max 25 results and 5km radius 0 this generally returns a decent number of results on the default view. If a user then increases the radius to say 10km or even 50km, no more results are loaded (as it maxes out at the 25 results)

Is this not perhaps slightly counterintuitive? Ideally I would like to just unset the the default max results and return all results from the radius if a user does a wider search – not sure if this is possible using the current available settings combinations?

    Thanks

  • Hi!

Well, your request has a point, but the plugin is not designed to do that. So, the radius and the max results dropdowns behave independently as a matter of fact.

The thing is, if you choose a huge radius and there is potentially large number of stores within that radius there could also happen that the number of stores is staggeringly high and it does not provide a clear benefit, since the user just wants to know the X number of nearest stores. At least that has always been the rationale when designing the plugin.

I guess you can do your own tweaks with Javascript so that if the radius is X, then it automatically changes the value of the max number of stores. But that is a customization that you would have to code yourself.

    Regards,
