Regarding the Order Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce, I purchased this plugin thinking the ‘Set Maximum Deliveries per day by Orders or Product Quantity’ feature would count for every product, but it’s the total sum of all products sold per day. I own a cake shop with bakery also so I can deliver 10 of cake A and 10 of cake B per day, but I can make 50 of bakery item C and 100 of bakery item D. Is there a way to set the daily limit per day per type of product? A product category limit would work.

Right now it’s set so if I limit it to 100 product quantity per day, someone can order 100 of cake A.

If there is a workaround, it’d also be nice if it notified the user that the specific product is over the limit for that date and not just in general.

I’m willing to pay extra if it’s an extra customization. I just need this to work asap especially with the pandemic going on.

Was this issue solved? I am creating a pizza delivery website for a customer of mine but they can only make so many of each product to be delivered each day. I would like to know this is possible before we purchase the plugin because it’s very pricey.

    Hi @ehlanafoley,

Yes, you can simply assign the categories to the products and then you can schedule the custom delivery settings for product categories where you can limit the orders per day.
    ?
I will recommend you read this helpful documentations:
    1. For scheduling custom setting based on categories: https://www.tychesoftwares.com/docs/docs/order-delivery-date-pro-for-woocommerce/custom-delivery-settings/custom-delivery-settings-for-defaults-woocommerce-product-categories/
    2. For Maximum Order Deliveries per day (based on per order): https://www.tychesoftwares.com/docs/docs/order-delivery-date-pro-for-woocommerce/understanding-maximum-order-deliveries-setting/maximum-order-deliveries-per-day/
    ?
?Let me know if you need any further help on this.

I’ve read the documentation, thank you for your prompt reply. Unfortunately, this will be out of our price range as I have everything I need but that one single function. I don’t need to pay for all the other things I don’t need at this time. Fab plugin though, I will definitely be looking at it in the future!

Hi does this mean I will have to create a category for every single product item there is if I want to limit how many of each item can be sold?

If I have hundreds of products is there an easier way to limit daily quantities than creating a category for each product? This method makes categorization on other plugins or graphic displays awkward.

    Hi @meruland,

I can completely understand. If you want to set a limit based on product quantities then you don’t need to create categories for each product. We do have the setting ‘maximum number of product quantities per day’ which is used for limiting the deliveries per product quantity.

Click here to read the documentation for a detailed understanding of this feature.

This plugin will work for the entire order. If you want to set limits per product, you can check our Product delivery date plugin which works at the product level.

I know of that feature already but that feature sums all products sold as one quantity and limits that. So if I had products A, B, and C and my daily limit was 10, users can’t buy anymore if anyone’s bought 4 of A + 6 of B or any other combination. I want to limit each product independently so it limits 10 of A, 10 of B, and 10 of C per day between all customer sales.

Any response to above? We’re just in a very time sensitive situation.

    Hi @meruland,

Yes, I agree with you that this is a very critical time and sorry for my delayed response.

Currently, this is not possible from our plugin to set a limit for each product. Like I said you can achieve your requirement from Product Delivery Date plugin but it will allow selecting a delivery date from the individual product page. Refer to this documentation: https://www.tychesoftwares.com/docs/docs/product-delivery-date-pro-for-woocommerce/maximum-deliveries-per-daydate-time-slot/

For further Pro plugin queries, you can ask on our support tool where you will get quick support response as this forum is for Free plugin.
