Max # of address savable

You should be able to have any number of addresses saved. A shipping address needs to be added before the address book options display, but after that there shouldn’t be anything preventing many addresses.

It’s possible you are running into a bug. Can you share a link to your site?

I noticed the shipping address needed to be input and also the documentation on “why” and I don’t think that’s it. Once I put in an address for default, I noticed my other addresses I had saved were displayed and that all makes sense.

What I get is 3 in the drop-down list while on the order screen. If I’m in the ‘My Account’ section, 2 show up. If I add new addresses in, it removes one of the older addresses.

I can share a link, sure. Any problem if I message it to you on Slack? The site is restricted to account holders only. I’d open it up but we have some stuff we need to keep hidden from Google in there.

I have read that personal contact may be against forum rules. (Read one of your old posts on the issue!) However, I do not know another way to keep the data private. All followup pertaining to the actual problem and any fix I will share here in this thread, of course.

After working with Gary, I will be checking plugins and theme for compatibility issues. He could not reproduce the issue locally. Thanks, Gary – I will follow up with any information to potentially help others.

Hi @maradad. I’m still unable to replicate the issue on a local install. Can you please share the value ‘wc_address_book’ in the user_meta table for the user experiencing the issue?

It looks like the plugin believes the user has only saved three addresses

Few other ideas.

• Create a new user and process three transactions and see if that continues.
• Switch to the twentyseventeen theme and see if the issue pursists
• Check your server logs or turn on WP_DEBUG to see if there are any error.

Also, I just tried deleting all the addresses you had previously entered in the user you sent me. You’ll see that I’ve now saved four addresses.

Have you seen this with many users, or just the one?

Sorry for the delay, was out of town.

So we went ahead and opened the store and have 180 users in there now. Next time I went to check, everything works. I’m able to create multiple addresses.

Don’t know what happened. Plugin setup is 100% the same, although possible one or two were updated between now and then.
