Max char still not working, can see many feedbacks on this, will it be fixed?

Hi there, great plugin idea! Unfortunately the max character limit doesn’t work at all for me either though.

I tried the min char limit and was served a notice, and I also tried restricting to aplha numeric and was served a notice when I disobeyed.

However max char limit (massively important) – does nothing.

I can see in the support it’s long been an ongoing issue, I just guessed it would have been addressed so I installed it. This is a key driver for using the plugin, will it be fixed?

Any idea what’s causing the issue so that you could send a workaround or something? Seems like a great plugin otherwise so it’s a pity if it doesn’t work properly.
