Matisse Theme Help – Slideshow Issue

  • I can’t seem to figure out how to get any slideshows into the designated area on my site. I can’t even find an area in the dashboard to create these slideshows.

    I’m trying to get the slideshow to show up like the theme homepage:

    Any Matisse theme users that can shed some light?

  • In the file style.css, change image images/footer.jpg
    .footer-widget #footer .container_12 {
    background: #d5d5d5 url(images/footer.jpg) no-repeat bottom center;

    Hi!

    So my problem is that I want my “latest posts” to be posted to a static page, so that I can change the template of the page to include a slideshow of my posts, followed by the actual blog feed, (just like the theme demo https://demo.blankcanvas.eu/home/?themedemo=matisse). However, WordPress doesn’t want to let me put my posts on a static page.

    How are people making this work?
