Matching multiple shipping zones or duplicate them ?

  • Hello wordpress and woocommerce friends !

    I exactly have the same issue than in this post but I can’t find the way to duplicate shipping zones ? This option would work for me, still matching multiple shipping zone would be ideal for me, is this option available now ?

    To explain my issue : I need to ship boxes and palets, so I need two shipping methods, one for the boxes, one for the palets. The palets pricing are very sensitive and narrowly located than the pricing for the boxes, with are country wide the same. I have 9 shipping zones for the palets, while I’d have only one large zone for the boxes shipping method. Unfortunately woocommerce matches only one zone for a customer, so it doesn’t show the boxes option when matching one palet zone… To make it work I’d have to duplicate all boxes methods and rules to each palet shipping zone… very redundant and error prone…

    Hey there!

    You are correct, that WooCommerce doesn’t allow for customers to match more than one shipping zone.

    The solution, as you mentioned, is to have duplicates of the less specific (in your case box) shipping methods, inside the zone containing more specific rates.

    Thanks for your reply ! How can I easily create those duplicates? I use a specific plugin (colissimo ie: the french DPD). Reentering manually the pricing tables so many times seems crazy !

    Is there a way to duplicate shipping zones with their shipping methods ?
