Matching jpeg color to background

  • Hi,
    I’ve got a background color in an image I want to match to the background color of my site.

    I selected the hex color for my site, applied it in Photoshop to the background of my image, saved as a sRGB image. But they don’t quite match.

    Anyone have any idea why?
