    Hi there,

I’ve been using BPS for a couple of weeks now. It does seem to work fine here. However, when I go to the Security Status tab, there appears one red line saying: “master-backups/wpadmin.htaccess File NOT Found”. All other status messages are green.

I have checked the folder via FTP and there are definitely some files in there, so I don’t believe that this is a rights issue. Furthermore, when I have a look at the File and Folder Permissions suggested by BPS, this particular folder has the correct permissions set. I have no idea what to do in order to get rid of this red line. Should I be worried?

    Thanks.

Oops. Master backups were phased out a while back since they became obsolete and we did not remove that error check on the Security Status page. We will remove that error check in the next version release of BPS. You can just ignore that error check message or if it bugs you you can upload a text file to the /wp-content/bps-backup/master-backups/ folder and name it wpadmin.htaccess. Thanks for pointing this out.

Strike that. I read the issue wrong – coffee had not kicked in yet. This check is actually correct. To make the red error check message go away >>> go to the htaccess Core page >>> Backup & Restore tab page >>> select the Backup .htaccess Files Radio button >>> click the Backup Files button.
