Massive Problems with 12.3

  • It was advertised that the new version 12.3 would solve all the memory related problems (the plugin using too much php memory).

    The opposite is the case. Not only are still not all panels shown in the dashboard (some never stop loading), but memory usage again seemed to increase instead of diminish.

    I have to deactivate, server load is to high (and I do not mean shared hosting, I have a dedicated server just for my site, and php memory limit is 256M).

    This latest update makes it even worse …

  • Absolutely, I have had absolutely no statistics since the upgrade at all.

    Exactly – it even breaks the some of my multisites – error log on php7

    So, NOTHING CHANGED !!!

    yes I have just updated too. The latest update has a problem inasmuch that i have admin access but the Front page does not display in any browser. when Stats plugin deactivated all works well. https://www.oceanswardrobe.xen.co.za

    I will definitely not give someone I do not know ftp-access to my site because of an obviously borked plugin.

    The memory-problems of late are known, one has just to look around in these forums.

    I thought about buying the Pro version, but this is discouraging and if the developers do not react quick I will look for another solution.

    Can you enable WP_DEBUG in your WordPress and try to enable the plugin?

    Then send the current error of the plugin to my email.

    seriously good plugin. Sad about the current problem. We have been using the plugin for a year and were most happy. We are unlikely to change but have deactivated for now.

    Please check you error_log files and let us know about any error
    We will fix any problems
    I think those are all related to old PHP version (lower than PHP 7)
    So let us know about those errors, We will fix all of them

    Aside from errors in the log it is obvious that the memory consumption of this plugin is through the roof since some versions ago. That needs to be fixed asap in my opinion.

    But it is in no way productive to just promise the removal of bugs shown in the logs. The problem is more global than that.

    I recommend you to use PHP 5.6 at least

    It’s time to migrate to PHP 7 and don’t use even php 5.6
