• The GPU (computer processing units on Media Temple hosting) on my account jumped up to 3/4 GPU an hour after I installed 3.0.2 and I’m facing major overage charges. It used to average less than .5 – 1 a GPU an hour.

I’ve identified the missing robots.txt file and created one. I also have a favicon.ico file.

I’ve disabled all of my plugins after noticing it might be WP Super Cache doing something funky with my wp-cron. (I ran a preload and it jumped up to 8 GPU)

Right now I’m on a fresh copy of WP 3.0.4, I’ve disabled all plugins, disabled all comments on posts over 14 days, am using a default theme, have cleaned out all files I don’t recognize through FTP. I even used shell access to log in via SSH to identify the top 10 IP addresses accessing and it looks legit.

I’m out of ideas. Anyone else have this problem or have a solution that might help me?
