Massive Drop (90%) in Analytics since 1/25/19

We saw a massive drop (down about 90% across all channels) beginning last Friday (1/25). After a lot of testing, we determined that while pages were loading fine, Analytics was not registering most hits.
After disabling this plugin and loading another popular one from the plugin store, traffic is appearing once again in Analytics. I have not diagnosed the specific issue within this plugin, but clearly something is amiss. I thought I’d share so you can fix and so others might benefit if they’re seeing the same issue.
