MASSIVE Disk Usage

  • /wp-content/cache/wpfc-minified gets 100s or 1000s of folders each with a bunch more and it equates to several GB of unnecessary-ness … what is going on?

    Is the version number added at the end of css or js files?

    Of the minified WPFC files? No

    Some externally loaded css or js? Yes

    Some internal plugin css or js? Yes

    if the version number is added as randomly, the js/css sources are detected as a new file.

    main.js?v=1
    main.js?v=2
    main.js?v=3

    Again, the version numbers are not on files being combined/minified via WPFC

    I deactivated WPFC on several sites having this issue since I do not have time to deal with this at this time.

    It appears it just keeps adding folders/files and never clears them, then I get a DISKWARN and I remove WPFC.

    I am sure I will get others in the coming days/weeks.
