• Hey,

in the dashboard of my hoster (raidboxes) I see heavy CPU spikes since a long time. Sometimes the CPU usage goes over 1200%.

Unfortunately I’m not that fit in this topic and the hoster could not really help me.

I have been looking at the access logs of the last days (especially during CPU usage).

I noticed that there are extremely many requests for the admin-ajax.php. Most of them look like this:

    “POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wcas_async_product_update&nonce=b507a6291b HTTP/1.1” 499 0 “https://pinkybreak.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wcas_async_product_update&nonce=b507a6291b” “bgQeLFi8JURM” 0.996 1 NGINX – “WORDPRESS URL” responsive

This entry comes from the server IP and then takes place every second (sometimes for 4-5 minutes.

I just can’t figure out what is causing this.
we run a store and have many plugins. In live operation it is of course difficult to turn them off.

    Does anyone have an idea?

    Thanks
    Robb
