Mass Plugin installs across hundreds of websites

This, I would love to know.

Okay basically I help work on hundreds of WordPress sites, and obviously that means literally hundreds of emails a day and also a complete pain when installing a great new plugin on all of the websites.

I am looking for a way of installing plugins (and hopefully activating them) across hundreds of WordPress sites with ease.

I realise that I can probably copy the plugins I want and place them in the WP Plugins folder on the server FTP, but this would still take time and would still mean logging into the websites and activating the plugins.

The only plugin I would want installing and activating would be Askimet (yes I realise I would still need to login and put my activation Key in) to rid a colleagues email inbox of hundreds of moderating comments emails a day.
