    Hello everyone.

I am currently managing a restaurant with over 50 products, and we offer different carbohydrate-alternatives. However, when these run out we quickly want to bulk-edit the 50 products to remove the variation, and then being able to add it again without having to go through all different products individually.

Is there any way to do this, best regards – Guswalker

If they are stock managed, why do you need to remove them? They cannot be purchased.

There is no bulk edit like that in core.

They are not stock managed – because it would be impossible for me to keep track on how many portions of potatoes I have left for example.

So, do you know of a plugin that does something similar or am I stuck with editing one by one?

There are some ‘bulk editors’ out there however most are 3rd party so I’ve not tried them.

Product CSV suite could be used; exporting variations and merging them back. You could merge back the variations specific to this attribute and update the status from publish to private.

Or you could look to a custom solution to disable variations conditionally. e.g. could do a query to find matching variations, then loop over them to disable/enable.
