  • Hello,

My feeling is that you should try and set the geo metadata when you import
your post (provided you have the information)

Can you expand on what you mean by bulk editing ?

I am having the same question/issue I believe

I too want to bulk edit posts, through an application I have, WP All Import. It allows me to edit titles, bodies, post types, formats, and metadata and more, with a CVS file. the fields go on the top row, and then the data on the cells below is inserted in those fields…

what I need to know is the name of the fields that WPGeo uses! like:
    address field
    latitude field
    longitude field
    pin size options

    get it? =)

I found mygpGeotagsGeoMetatags and think this is the only tag I’ve associated with WP Geo. how is it formatted? ;D

    Latitude: _wp_geo_latitude
    Longitude: _wp_geo_longitude
    Marker: _wp_geo_marker
    Title: _wp_geo_title
    Zoom/Type/Center: _wp_geo_map_settings (as an array)

awesome thank you so much for the prompt reply Ben, you are making my day!
    A couple of bonus questions:

    1) _wp_geo_marker >> what are the different values for big pin/small pin/dot? do these changes if I go and change the actual pin image in the plugin folder?

    2) array… is separated by comma?

    3) just like the (1), what are the precise names for the the options available in :

map type (hybrid, terrain, roadmap, satellite…?)
Opt in/out on “Save custom map type for this post”
Opt in/out on “Save map centre point for this post”

And also, how would I provide the centre point for the map in the post, if I don’t want the “true center” ? This feature of allowing a map to show up with with the pin uncentered is ***AWESOME**** and such a huge plus.

Thanks so much, this is a light, versatile, and powerful plugin!

    1) I think they are “small”, “large”, and “dot”. They don;t change if you just change the images.

    2) It’s a serialized PHP array so I’m not surely you’ll be able to easily import this.

    3) I’d need to lookup exactly whats saved in the array

Ok got it ben. thank you!
