When I use the Mask Login feature the new URL it creates returns a 404 error. It has worked properly on 7 sites I’ve set this on prior to this site. I don’t see what’s different about this one to cause that error. What could cause the masked URL to return a 404 error? The original login page is fine and can reach it fine.

    Hi @ckaiser3,

Hope this message finds you well.

Could you enable it again and re-save Permalinks in the Settings tab? Let us know the results.

    Best regards,
    Laura

    Hi,
I enabled the login masking again and then re-saved the permalinks in the settings tab. No change. Still comes up as a 404. The site owner is using the plain setting in the permalinks structure. Would that cause this?

    Hi @ckaiser3,

    Thanks for the update.

Yes, that’s the issue, the Permalinks rules are not recognizing the /slug/ in the URL, that’s why is not working, you might need to enable Post Name or use /%postname%/ in Custom Structure.

    Best regards,
