Mask my wordpress URL

I have the URL of my website: https://www.domain.com and I have setup a wordpress blog on blog.domain.com.

So, you have WordPress in a folder called /blog and you have set up a subdomain?

It is on a sub-domain: https://blog.domain.com/

Usually a subdomain is just another way of addressing a subfolder. If you FTP to your server, are the files in a subfolder called /blog?

I don’t want to move it, I want to mask blog.domain.com

You actually don’t have to move any files. You can just use your hosting control panel or ask your hosting tech support to point your domain name to the subfolder. You would have to change the URLs in Settings > General first, or use these instructions to reset the URLs after the domain name has been pointed directly to the subfolder.

This is a preferable setup when you want to have multiple installations of WordPress on one hosting account, and in fact it’s how my site is set up. I have about 6 installations of WordPress running and resolving to different domain names. None of them are in the root folder of my hosting account.

I would like all my subsites to show MAIN.com

reason:
I have translated versions of subsites, so the url is pretty confusing – LNG.domain.com/SUBSITE/…
the same is with subdomain mode – SUBSITE.domain.com/LNG/…

and the same would be if I move lan before subdomain – LNG.SUBSITE.domain.com/…

I would just like it to show domain.com/… all the time, at least domain.com/LNG/… or LNG/domain.com/… would be good enough…

questions:
1. Is there any way to remove SUBSITE slug (like there are plugins to remove all kind of slugs /category, /tag, /author slug etc…)

2. If not, should I try it with domain mapping?

3. Should I just forget about it and accept it the way it is? ??
