    hi,

can your plugin add markup to the price of the datafeed “store catalogue” i.e. our supplier send us the csv/xml datafeed with wholesale price on a column, we retail and use the same csv/xml datafeed our supplier supplied us, we want to add the 5% increase markup to the entire price of datafeed to reflect website price, can your plugin do that function?

    awaiting your reply.

    thanks

No. Markup-by-Attribute’s only function is to allow the store owner to add a ‘markup’ to specific product options, and will price the product variations accordingly.

It sounds to me like you need a Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc macro that would add 5% before you import the data.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

    Hi Mark,

Can you explain the quote “Markup by Attribute for WooCommerce is a great tool for any online business that might need to make sweeping price changes on a regular basis. With it, you can either do a percentage increase or you can add a flat rate across the board.”

it says percentage increase across the board, is that not the whole store catalogue?

    thanks

I’m shocked. That is not a quote from my documentation, nor is it anything I ever stated. I Googled the quote, and found it is from the GreenGeeks Web Hosting site, resources blog. I have never met the author, Robert Giaquinto.

The statement is incorrect, and I will be reaching out to him. Meanwhile, you can find accurate descriptions of Markup by Attribute on the WordPress Plugin page or at my GitHub repository.

    hi,

thanks for the update, you should develop a markup for price in general for the website catalogue and for categories as well, it should be a feature on your plugin, i think the greengeeks were trying to reach out to you in the essence of you adding that feature and more to your plugins, greengeeks might be getting data of lots of searches for those features from woocommerce users.

    awaiting your reply.

    thanks
