• Hi!

Love wordpress, excellent stuff this is, no doubt!

One thing that gets to me, is that there is no markup / color coding for the add page / post html form.

Is there a plugin for this? Or perhaps some existing admin css mojo to be done?

Would love to be able to edit html and have it look like it does in my code editor, something like this:
<img src=”https://i50.tinypic.com/29ys96t.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”Image and video hosting by TinyPic”>

Any ideas?

Long live WP! ??

Hmm link didn’t work for some reason, here goes;

Admin markup concept image

Don’t think there currently is…

If you use firefox there’s an addon called It’s All Text, which allows you to open up any text input in your favorite text editor, then import data when you save..

For example, if i right click in the text area of the forum here, i can choose to open my editor, type something, click save, and it’s imported into the textarea..

Ok you have to switch to and from the editor, but you get to use your own editors highlighting, and whatnot… ??

Just a suggestion anyway.. ??

Ahh ok. Too bad, as right now I flip between the admin pages & my editor, copy & pasting if I need to edit code; tedious to be sure.

Will give the firefox addon a try, as I do most of my dev with firefox anyway.

Thanks ??

No problem, if you have any issues figuring out how to use itsalltext, just post back, i remember i had some issues with it initially..

Think i personally prefer the addon approach, i’ve seen the effect of some syntax scripts, i think the admin is slow enough as it is.. 2.9 seems to have improved on this area though (or maybe it’s a placebo and it just seems that way)… ??

Firefox addons for the win!… ??
