Since upgrading to Version 3, Categories do not work. I followed all the upgrades and after sorting many issues, I go the main pages working. However whenever I click on a category, it goes to a page reporting that the product cannot be found.

Also the sorting on the product list does not work. Whatever you choose the products are in some random order.

All this working before the upgrade. Obviously something went wrong when the database was being upgraded.

    What should I do?

    Elizabeth

Thank you for using MarketPress. To fix this go to Settings -> Permalinks and click save to flush the setting. If this does not work change to any other permalink option, save, and then change it back to post name.

Let us know if you run into any issues.

Thank you. The categories are working now.

The products will sort on alphabetical order of name but when Price is chosen it is very random.

I have the widgets for cart, categories and tags set to only show on store pages. This worked before the upgrade but now they show on every page.

Sorry for the delayed response. What theme or plugin are you using to set widgets on specific pages? Also, would you mind sharing your URL so we can take a closer look?

    Hello chalky96234,

I was able to replicate both issues – widgets are showing on all pages and when sorting by price order is not correct. Those are bugs and I’m reporting them to developer.
Fix should be provided with new version of the plugin.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hello chalky96234,

Sorry to bother again – I started to test that issue with order more extensively and this time I edited and updated products that were out of order and now ordering works fine on my site :/

I tried to check your site but it give me error “Your access to this site has been limited

Your access to this service has been temporarily limited. Please try again in a few minutes. (HTTP response code 503)

Reason: Access from your area has been temporarily limited for security reasons.

I’m connecting from Argentina – can you check if you are not blocking access for Argentina?

    kind regards,

    Hello @chalky96234,

I’ve retested this issue on my site and can replicate it too, so I’ve reported this to our developers so they can have a closer look at this. Since Kasia can’t replicate it must be server’s or WordPress specific settings.

Once I have any news from the developers, I’ll update this thread.

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Hello there @chalky96234

I had some new from the developer and there is an available fix to this issue.

Please try the following workaround. Upload this plugin here to /wp-conent/mu-plugins/ folder. In case there is no mu-pligins folder, feel free to create one.

This should fix the products order on a products page.

Let me know how it went!

    Cheers,
    Nastia
